Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all work....We were able to enjoy some of the most inspirational speakers in the country and listen to their stories to inspire spreading more love, increasing our creativity in our business and lives, and finally to do successful things like the timeless band The Beatles did to not just be great but "to be bigger than Elvis!"
It was refreshing to connect with other private practice owners/practitioners who were eager and willing to share their knowledge and experience, successes and failures, in the hopes of improving our business and the profession. The other exciting thing was that we are doing a lot of things right, but we can always do better and I learned an interesting lesson from one of the keynote speakers, John O'Leary that we need to ask the question of ourselves daily, "What more can I do?" In this time of year we find ourselves rushing around from party to party, gathering to gathering, work to home, home to children's activities and we sometimes fail to see some of the things that are right in front of us. A child, a man, or a woman who may need just a little more from us. A word of encouragement, motivation to do one more repetition, one more step, one more try. Sometimes they just need to know that we care and that it is not just our "job". Physical therapy is our passion, helping people improve their life one moment at a time is our calling and privilege. I am proud to be a physical therapist, I am proud to have the staff that I have at Premier Physical Therapy Services and I am humble to know that I can make a difference in peoples lives. We are all excited to continue to grow as people, professionals, practitioners, and as a community and look forward to every day that we can continue to serve the people in the Tri-State area.
